Wonder Family 2-in-1 Electric Makeup Brush Cleaner Machine will help you keep your makeup brushes and facial sponges clean with just a push of a button. Prior to using, you will need to charge the unit with the enclosed USB charging cable. When the unit is fully charged, the button area will illuminate with a white light. I was surprised and impressed to see that the main body of the cleaner machine is made of sturdy glass. You will need to add a little more than 1/3 cup of water (and less than 1/2 cup) and the cleanser of your choice to the glass body of the machine. I used castile soap to wash my makeup brushes. The lid of the piece is made with silicone and has six cutouts for smaller handled brushes such as eyeshadow brushes or lip brushes and one large cut out for blush or foundation brushes. When pressing the power button, I needed to hold it for about 2 seconds before the disk began to spin and a mini whirlpool began to form. It makes the same amount of noise as a cell phone vibrating. When I determined that the brushes were clean, I pressed the power button again which turns the machine off. If you need to clean a facial sponge, you will need to place the sponge on the inner round mat and top with the silicone lid. Some of my brushes were wider than the 6 smaller spaces but smaller than the main cutout hole so I ended up holding the brush as it was cleaning. It did a good job cleaning my brushes and when I was finished, I poured out the water and re-inserted the brushes so the handles were inside the glass container and the brushes were outside and able to air dry. The only negative that I have for this unit is that I wish that the charging area was separated from the power button. You need to lift the silicone cover which in turn exposes the power button when charging. I feel that with constant re-charging, the cover will simply not last. The machine is Made in China. Overall, it is an easy way to make sure that your brushes and facial sponges are always clean.

Speedy and effective
This device works! I washed a couple foundation brushes that desperately needed to be clean (I used the weeks ago and just now got around to washing them) and this cleaned them well! Now honestly there was still a bit of makeup left but I just rewatched it and it got about 90% of it off. I didnât have the proper brush soap so I used dish soap (donât judge!) , so that could have had something to do with it not being 100% clean. So for that, I canât dock off a star. Other than that, works great and the drying time of my brushes? Insane! I didnât get a chance to dry it with the machine (because it does that too). I just laid them out and came back a couple hours and dry! It use to take the next day! Wow. Pleased.

I want to use this over and over again. It leaves my brushes feeling soft and clean. The glass bowl makes it super easy for cleanup and it feels luxurious. The rechargeable battery feels strong and I cleaned and dried several brushes at a time hassle free. I was surprised to clean my beauty blenders because it cleaned all the makeup inside & now they look brand new. I use water and just a squirt of dawn dish soap for a cleaning solution and it works well with the brush cleaner. Iâm so happy and Iâm ordering one for my daughter too, Itâs so nice!

Pretty nice makeup brush cleaning machine. It has a peppy little motor that works quickly and it uses far less water than when I clean my brushes in the sink with a silicone brush cleaning mat.Learning to use it took some experimentation. The booklet that came with mine had some info that conflicted. The first thing was trying to charge it. My instruction booklet showed the charging port on the bottom of the machine. I finally found it on the front, next to the power button. Itâs better on the front but it threw me off. There are also directions on the box that say you can dry brushes with it, but the manual didnât say anything about drying. Finally, I tossed the manual aside and just played with it.There are 3 main stages of cleaning you can do with it:1. Cleanse.2. Rinse.3. Dry.Cleansing is pretty straight forward. I donât like solvent makeup brush cleaners, so I used water and 1 drop of shampoo. Because the motor spins hard, do not just mash your brush down on the spinning pad. You want to control the brush so itâs only lightly touching or just in the swirling water only. I didnât use the silicone handle gripper so I could control the brush. I had about a dozen brushes and changed the water/shampoo mixture a few times.â¨â¨Rinsing. Same but without cleanser.â¨â¨Dry. This was kind of confusing. I fiddled around with the silicone holder but it was more trouble than itâs worth. I held the brush above the spinning disk, touching ever so lightly, and the centrifugal force pulled the excess water out. Still needed a good air dry.Results? Mostly very good, except my concealer and foundation brushes didnât get clean enough. I had to massage more shampoo through with my fingers. To get out the heavy creams, it needed gentle massage, not the fast spin of the machine.Overall, I liked it. It seems solid and like it will be long lasting. I wish it was a neutral color like white or beige. If you like the look of the bright pink, the machine can double as a makeup brush holder. Recommended.
